Strothoff International School Facilities

Teaching and learning conditions at Strothoff International School are underpinned by excellent facilities on our brand new, 5,000 sqm campus.
The school’s interior was designed by Professor Werner Kintzinger, one of Germany’s leading architects, and our partners the SBW, who place particular importance on creating an inspiring and welcoming learning environment for students.

The classrooms are light and spacious, each carrying its own theme from the capital cities of the world, to reflect the school’s international outlook. All our rooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and there is wireless Internet accessthroughout the building.

Our facilities include two state-of-the-art science labs, as well as purpose-built art, music and technology rooms. In addition, we have two well-stocked, high-tech libraries for all age ranges, supervised by a full-time teacher librarian.

Children visit the libraries as part of their lessons but may also pop in during breaks and in the afternoon to take part in reading circles, competitions or merely to settle down with a book on their own.

Our sports facilities include a modern gymnasium at the Rhein Main Campus and outdoor facilities for soccer and basketball.

We also use professional sports facilities from our cooperation partners (Eintracht Frankfurt, TV Dreieichenhain, Schwimmhalle Dreieich-Sprendlingen). Kindergarten and Primary School children visit the school’s partner farm the Dreieichhörnchen on a regular basis to learn more about nature, animals and traditional crafts.
