I would like to extend a warm invitation to all parents to attend the PTA AGM on Wednesday, 8th June at 19:00hrs. The meeting will take place in the Grand Meeting Room, Strothoff International School.
The AGM is an informal meeting where we review the last year and plan the next; friends of Strothoff International School – old and new – are welcome to attend and we look forward to seeing you there. There is absolutely no obligation for you to join the committee! But it can be lots of fun and a great way to network with other parents.
An important agenda item for the AGM is to elect/re-elect officers of the PTA for the upcoming academic year 2011/12. The following officers shall be elected:
• Chair
• Vice Chair
• Secretary
• Treasurer
The elected officers work to support the school in its day-to-day business. In all these aspects, they work for the ultimate benefit of all the students of the School.
I would like to invite all parents to run for the above posts.

Should parents wish to run for a post, please return the completed Candidate Statement to Susan Boek (bas.boek@msn.com). Closing date for nominations will be 17:00hrs Friday 3rd June 2011 after which the nomination period will be closed.
