Its friends and sponsors assist Strothoff International School in raising and administering funds which are needed in particular for constructing new facilities or enlarging existing ones. Through their commitment, they promote educational activities and early childhood education. Friends and sponsors help to open doors, pave ways and develop ideas for training and education concepts on a secondary level.
Friends and sponsors are promoting the dialogue with representatives from business, politics, communications and society. They strengthen ties of cooperation and the exchange of experience with schools and other institutions active in international education. In addition, they initiate educational projects on an international level to serve the cause of understanding and cultural exchange between students from different nations and civilizations.
The sponsors believe that their joint mission is to build up, foster and expand voluntary commitment within a political, economic and social network so as to create a sustainable basis which also covers many adjacent areas. To bring this about, we promote the exchange of experience between Strothoff International School and society on local, regional and international levels. Another objective is to pool resources, whether monetary or non-monetary, so as to be able and promote both school-related and interdisciplinary projects.
The association of the friends and sponsors of Strothoff International School was founded at the Frankfurt Airport Club on April 16, 2012. It uses the fees paid by every member for improving the educational concepts applied by Strothoff International School. This school is striving to achieve interdisciplinary excellence and aims to apply the latest findings of science in its work. Another aim of the association is to give an impetus to other educational systems both on a national and on an international level.
