What parents say about Strothoff International School

“A search for a school that matches one’s own educational values is never a simple thing. It becomes even more complicated when coming to a new country, learning a new language...this is a big challenge for the whole family. At Strothoff International School, this issue is well understood. The children are welcomed by competent and warm staff that make them feel at home immediately.
It seems a lot of the worries that existed before are taken away by the professional manner in which the school handles these new students. I would definitely recommend Strothoff International School to new parents!”
Helena Schoors-Raes (mother of two girls attending Strothoff International School)

“As our daughter is talented in languages and maths, we chose Strothoff International School. The teachers stimulate her with work that is interesting and challenging. We are impressed with the modern media facilities and also the active involvement in social projects and intercultural education.”
The Jacobs-Koch Family (parents of a student in grade 6)

“I like the diversity of the students, and the community spirit is good.
The parent functions are always well attended and professionally run.
The student numbers have been rising – a good sign that the school is on the right track. When I have spoken to staff, what impresses me is the drive to continually improve and not be satisfied with prior or current achievements.”
The Boek Family (parents of two students)

“Once we had visited Strothoff International School we knew we had found the right school. English is a world language which will help our children to find their place everywhere in the world. We found motivated teachers with a unique approach to teaching and we were impressed by the facilities and equipment.
We’ve been at the school for one year now, and we can say we have made the right choice; our children have never been so happy at a school. The workload is high and the days are long, but they are really thriving in the environment.
The IB concept encourages our children to develop their personalities, self confidence, social skills, and most of all it really motivates them beyond our expectations.”
Sabine Manger (mother of two students)

“My father taught me that “the best present a father can offer to his children is top education”. Time has shown that this was the best present to his children and I am trying to do the same to my children. My son Simon has already been to two Kindergarten near our house. There were about 20 children in each class, the staff of both places were friendly and ensured that the children were having good fun and good food, but they were not really learning anything. When I heard about Strothoff International School, I went with my wife to one of the orientation presentations. We were very satisfied with the presentation and the dedication of the staff to make the school a big success. In less than one year, my 5 year old Simon can now speak very fluent English as well as German.
He is keen to go to school every morning. He has 11 classmates. He knows a good deal about different countries, maps, numbers and the alphabet. He is an initiator as well as an innovator, and he learns how to work with his classmates as a team. Two days ago, his teacher organized a fantasy day trip to Egypt during the school day. All the children (only 4-5 years old) learned to present a passport and to get it stamped, to get in a queue and to sit in what is supposed to be a plane and to get to learn more about Egypt. One of the mothers came as a plane hostess and gave the children a real sense of being on a plane. The children had great fun and learned a lot as well. We are very satisfied with the school and its discipline, and I believe that I am giving my son the best present I can offer him, TOP EDUCATION”
Prof. Dr. med. Ahmed T Hadidi (father of a student)

“Although there were other, more established International Schools in Frankfurt to choose from, we believed that the size of Strothoff International School was a good match for our three teenagers. The focus on the International Baccalaureate as the diploma programme to be offered was an additional impetus. Finally, the warm welcome we have received as both parents and students has been exceptional. We heartily endorse Strothoff International School and its mission.”
Brian and Lisha Crawford (parents of three students)

“My son was very unhappy in the state school system. He was getting terrible grades, unable to concentrate and became reclusive. I visited the open day at Strothoff International School and was immediately impressed by the different teaching methods based not only on academic criteria, but included a social aspect that is seriously lacking at other schools. Even though the school is expensive, I thought we should give it a try. Any concerns I had quickly vanished! I am delighted to say that my son is progressing well. It's tough but fair, hard work but rewarding and worth every penny! My only regret is that my son didn't start at this school earlier! “
Deniz Sener (mother of a student in grade 7)

“I have two boys who are attending Strothoff International School. They have very different personalities, and this school has been a wonderful experience for both of them. We selected Strothoff International School for my now almost 11-year old because of its nurturing environment that takes the whole child, into account. I love that the teachers really care for your child and you can trust they are in great hands. My oldest is very laid back about his learning and needs to be challenged. If he had gone elsewhere he might have become demotivated. In his first year at Strothoff International School, his confidence blossomed. All teachers really nurtured and developed his love for learning. He is now a proactive member of his class. My younger son is hungry for knowledge. He talks about how much fun learning is in his class. The class sizes are small, and I believe that small classes permit more academic ground to be covered. My sons are exposed to more information and learn more because they receive more individual attention.
Both boys are athletic and active, and we wanted a school that provides excellent access to all kinds of sports because it builds the strength of character, a hard work ethic, commitment and teamwork. Strothoff International School is a good school that will continue on a down-to-earth, pragmatic and committed-to-excellence pathway which leads to becoming a great school.”
Eva Segner (mother of two students)
