Concept

Strothoff International School is a private, all-day school for children from kindergarten to grade 12 (ages 3-18). The school is located in Dreieich, Frankfurt and was established in 2009. We are the only school in the region to offer the complete programme of the International Baccalaureate.

As a multilingual school, we offer an excellent education in a friendly, motivating, concept-driven and inquiry-based learning environment.

We are an IB World School

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational organisation based in Den Haag. The IB Diploma is the most widely accepted entrance qualification to universities worldwide, including Germany. We are the only IB school in the Rhine-Main area to offer all three IB programmes.

We're proud of the reputation we’ve established as a small school with a highly committed staff of IB practitioners. Our teachers are experienced international educators and are the driving force behind the school’s academic success. More importantly, the care and attention we provide to each of our students - from Kindergarten to DP2.

Our vibrant student-centred classrooms use inquiry-based approaches. We place strong importance on developing the range of students’ skills, including traditional writing, reading,  and mathematics, alongside thinking, self-management, communication, social, research, and technology. We are inspired by examples of global best practices and blend our modern vision of what is best for our students.   We offer every student a unique educational environment to nurture into a confident, balanced and caring world citizen.

As one of the leading IB schools in the Frankfurt area, we offer an academically rigorous programme taught multi-lingually with learning opportunities designed to develop critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration.

New families joining our school community immediately notice the richness of different cultures and how we live our mission. Our families come from over 30 nations, and we value each individual's heritage and celebrate the joy this brings.
