Parent Teacher Organisation

The PTO is a volunteer committee of parents, teachers and students that supports Strothoff International School through fundraising activities and promotes community spirit through family events.

The PTO supports or runs regular events throughout the school year, giving children, parents and teachers the opportunity to have fun, socialise and get to know each other better. These events are:

  • Back to School BBQ (family party at the beginning of the new school year).
  • Halloween Party (PYP event)
  • Winter Market (Family Festival)
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Summer Fete (Family Fete)
  • Coffee Morning  
  • Happy Hour

In addition to fundraising at school events and reusing school uniforms, you as a parent can also support the school by shopping through and thus collecting money for our PTO school projects with every online purchase.

The PTO works closely with the school administration and all staff to ensure that the money raised is used in an effective manner and to benefit the entire school community. It is important to the PTO that funds raised are used only to support and enhance the school life of our students and their families, including upgrading school facilities and purchasing new outdoor and indoor equipment.

  • Beanbags
  • Benches for outside use
  • Playground equipment such as scooters, tricycles etc.
  • Portable stage for music performances
  • Sun sails
  • Container for free play
  • and much more
