Welcome to the Strothoff International Secondary School
Advantages of our Secondary School
International community & individual support
Our school is a warm and welcoming international community that fosters a love for learning. We see each student as an individual, recognize their unique strengths, and support them in reaching their full potential. Everyone is valued for who they are and what they contribute to our community.
Three diplomas for maximum future opportunities
In addition to the International Baccalaureate (IB) with MYP & DP, we offer the Strothoff High School Diploma and IB-Abi — recognized qualification awarded to all students who successfully complete Grades 9 to 12. Additionally, students can obtain the Mittlere Reife (Intermediate School Certificate) after Grade 10, allowing them to pursue vocational training.
IB Philosophy: more than just academics
We are guided by the IB learner profile, fostering responsible problem-solvers who think beyond the classroom. With compassion and engagement, our students take part in both local and global initiatives, actively contributing to a better world.
Excellent preparation for university & career
The IB Diploma is recognized worldwide, opening doors to leading universities. Through academic research, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary projects, our graduates are well-prepared for higher education and their professional careers.
Everyone contributes, everyone reflects, everyone grows
Our school motto is more than just words: Every member of our community is encouraged to engage, reflect, and grow. We foster a family-like atmosphere, where students feel at home and take responsibility for their learning journey.
