School uniform
One sign of our shared community spirit

At Strothoff International School (SIS), all students wear a school uniform. It helps minimise distractions and comparisons, creating a fair and focused learning environment for everyone. More importantly, it’s a visible expression of belonging – a daily reminder of our unity, pride, and the strong sense of community that defines SIS.

We offer an attractive collection - the choice is yours.

We respect diversity - regardless of gender identity, religion, origin or social background. Students and their families take joint responsibility for fundamental decisions on school uniform and thus for our shared values.

In the online store, you and your child can choose the items in which they feel comfortable from an attractive selection of clothing. All students wear their school uniform every day, unless otherwise instructed by school staff. It is important to us that you and your child maintain a professional appearance and that the clothes are clean and in good condition.

A small selection of items is available in school - email the school office for more information. Pre-loved clothing items are available through our PTO.

Dress code for Diploma Programme students

Our teenage students in the Diploma Programme also follow the Strothoff International School Dress Code.

Dressing respectfully and modestly is more than just following school rules - it's a way to express yourself while being considerate of others.

When DP students also choose clothing that is appropriate for school, together we create an environment where everyone can focus on learning and feel comfortable.

Pre-loved school clothing
Sustainability is important to us

Second hand - unique chance

The PTO operates an online store for used, high-quality Strothoff school clothing, which is sold at a very reasonable price. The price is a fraction of the price of new items. Reusing school uniforms is good for both the environment and parents' budgets.

The store is located in the MYP Lounge on the first floor of the school and is open on Mondays from 14:15 to 15:30. We are always very grateful for donations.

Current stock

You can view the current inventory of used uniforms here.

The inventory list is updated weekly by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). However, it is possible that items of clothing on the list have already been sold. Clothing is sold during the store's opening hours and can be paid for in cash.

The proceeds from the store benefit the students in the form of projects or purchases.

Other items of clothing

In addition to school uniforms, the PTO also offers used carnival costumes, Christmas sweaters and Halloween costumes as well as other clothing items such as jackets, sportswear and pants. Clothing donations are welcome at any time.

Join in

Everyone benefits when everyone participates. Selling pre-loved school clothes is not only a service that benefits everyone, but also a service that everyone can contribute to!

If you have school clothes that your child has outgrown, bring them to school. There is a black bin for used clothes in the lobby where you can drop them off.
