At Strothoff International School (SIS), all students wear a school uniform. It helps minimise distractions and comparisons, creating a fair and focused learning environment for everyone. More importantly, it’s a visible expression of belonging – a daily reminder of our unity, pride, and the strong sense of community that defines SIS.
The PTO operates an online store for used, high-quality Strothoff school clothing, which is sold at a very reasonable price. The price is a fraction of the price of new items. Reusing school uniforms is good for both the environment and parents' budgets.
The store is located in the MYP Lounge on the first floor of the school and is open on Mondays from 14:15 to 15:30. We are always very grateful for donations.
You can view the current inventory of used uniforms here.
The inventory list is updated weekly by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). However, it is possible that items of clothing on the list have already been sold. Clothing is sold during the store's opening hours and can be paid for in cash.
The proceeds from the store benefit the students in the form of projects or purchases.
In addition to school uniforms, the PTO also offers used carnival costumes, Christmas sweaters and Halloween costumes as well as other clothing items such as jackets, sportswear and pants. Clothing donations are welcome at any time.
Everyone benefits when everyone participates. Selling pre-loved school clothes is not only a service that benefits everyone, but also a service that everyone can contribute to!
If you have school clothes that your child has outgrown, bring them to school. There is a black bin for used clothes in the lobby where you can drop them off.
Please pay attention to these points when making your donation:
All garments that are deemed not resalable will be recycled. If you have any questions, please email the PTO at pto.uniform.sis@gmail.com.
